Birthday Gifts

With school being back in session, all of the birthday parties have begun. We have already had one, and attended one. Starting this year, I have decided every child will get the same gift. I have picked out a boy/girl gift for Leighton's age, and the same for Laney. I don't know why it has taken me this long to come up with this genius idea, but I am so happy I did! Unless something is specifically requested, this is what I will be gifting, to make my life easier. Sorry to spoil it for all the families we will be attending your parties. Ha! I, almost always, buy things other parents won't hate me for (minus the Lego Dots).

Lego Dots - Lego Dots allow children to be creative! You can add to the collection, with key chains and pencil holders.

Games - I love family games! I remember playing Yeti In My Spaghetti (German Link) with my little brother, when he was around 5. We played Operation (German Link) when my mom and brother were here, this summer. We had so much fun! It is great for all ages!

Coloring Books - I find most girls, from the ages of 3-7, love to color! These coloring books are our favorites - we have 4.

Do you have a similar strategy or do you buy unique gifts for each child? Are there any gifts your child has received, which were big hits? Let me know, below!
