Düsseldorf Food Guide

Düsseldorf, Germany

There is more to the German food scene than Brats and Fries!! Although, I must say, one of my favorite easy meals is brats & fries, from the train station (Klemensplatz Station). Ha! I have put together some of my favorite restaurants in The Düss! These are all restaurants I just can't quit. There are many more great restaurants, but these are my go-to's.

BREAKFAST/BRUNCH

Goldsheim | My favorite coffee shop and my favorite avocado toast (add a poached egg)! The owner has joked with me that they do have other things on the menu. I always order the avocado toast! lol Their oat milk lattes are the best!

I Love Birdie | Right in the middle of the city. Easy location to grab brunch before or after shopping. Their cinnamon rolls were what sparked my interest, at first. Now, I love their porridge and iced coffees. The girls love their pancakes. I, recently, tried their tahini bars...man it was delish!!

Seven Sundays | Everything, I mean everything is so good here!

Wilma Wunder | Another great location and great atmosphere. I love the decor! The food is awesome, as well! Their Canada Morning is a crowd favorite! Their Eggs Benedict is my favorite.

Nooij Deli | Three Words...Peanut Butter Bomb! When I tell you this is amazing, it is amazing!!! The PB Bomb is only served on the weekends, which makes me sad, but it is seriously, so good! Their regular menu is great, but their weekend menu is even better!

Copenhagen Coffee Lab | The best oat milk dirty chai in town! Not to mention the best selection of fresh pastries. All are mouth watering good!

LUNCH

Quintoo | Delicious Vietnamese food. I love their spicy crispy chicken with rice! Make sure you order their limeade (lime and mint drink). It is so refreshing!

Bona'me | Wonderful middle eastern food. We enjoy ordering a lot of little bites and sharing with friends. The dips are the best!

Natcha | Mouth watering Modern Thai food. Spicy and so good!!!

Takumi | Delish ramen spot. It is pretty popular, so getting a table can be a wait, but its worth it!

DATE NIGHT/LADIES NIGHT

20 Degrees Resto Bar | This is the first place I ever ate at, in Düsseldorf. Fernando and I had dinner here, on our look and see trip. It is an upscale tapas restaurant, and it is amazing!! I've never had anything, I didn't love! Their Moscow Mules are THE BEST!

Qomo | This restaurant is at the top of the Rhine Tower. It is, hands down, the most amazing dining experience! The food was out of this world good. Everything was so unique and so good! I can't wait to get back here, soon! The Berry & Basil drink was simply amazing!!!!

The Rhine Tower | Qomo is at the top.

CASUAL DINNER

Hitchcoq | If you have ever met me, you know how much I love this place! It is the absolute best chicken wings, ever! The entire Soto family loves this place. My favorite is the caesar salad with mild chicken filets. Fernando likes their mild wings. The girls love their plain chicken filets. We all love the mac n cheese and fries. There is always a fantastic cheesecake on the menu (changes daily). Best of all, the beer selection is a beer lover's dream. If you haven't been, why??!! The first Sunday of the month, they have chicken and waffles on the menu. Talk about delicious!!!! Make sure to make reservation, because they are popular!

Bob & Mary's | Solid burger joint! My kids love coming here for all of the HUGE stuffed teddy bears. lol

BAR

Holy Craft | I love this place. It is our go to pre-game spot. They always have a great beer selection on tap.

Paris Club | The 2nd best view of Düsseldorf! The atmosphere is great, and the drinks are even better!

Paris Club Rooftop

Have you tried any of these restaurants? Do you have a favorite, which I missed? Leave a comment and let me know!
