Hi!!!! We recently took a trip to the US We were able to see the progress made on the house, and we met with our construction manager (in person). We were pleasantly surprised by how much had been done! We have a roof, windows, and bathtubs!!! The HVAC was being installed while we were on site. This week they had electrical and HVAC inspections. We got word yesterday, they passed both!! Yay! Drywall will start next week. EEEEKKKK!!! While we were there, we set up our pre-drywall inspection. If you are building a new home, please make sure you do this. I know buying a house is expensive and inspections are another added cost, but the relief they bring are priceless. We got the inspection results back, and the builder is already working on the items the inspector found. Inspectors are really valuable during the home buying/building process. If you are in North Carolina, we used Home Inspection Carolina (recommended by our realtor). We were very pleased with them.
