Unlike most of my trips, this one was kid-free! It was a girls trip, and it was fantastic! We were a group of 10 moms, and to say we had a blast, would be an understatement. From the food, to the experiences, Lisbon is a great city for a holiday!
ACCOMODATION
I would not recommend the AirBnB we used, as it was for a group of 10. However, there are a lot of great AirBnB and hotel options around the city.
FOOD
Time Out Market | Every option of food you could think of. I really enjoyed coming here. We got a pitcher of sangria and sat on the lawn outside. If we had more time, I would have enjoyed trying more restaurants.
JNcQUOI | Great atmosphere and food, even better service. We had the best time here. Later in the night, the downstairs turns into a party. Dancing, disco ball, DJ...such a good time!
Manteigaria | The absolute best Portuguese egg pastries, ever! Prepare to gain 5lbs, because you will keep coming back for these!
By The Wine | Great tapas dinner option. Everything we tried was delicious!
Cervejaria Ramiro | If you are a seafood lover, this place is for you! Also, prepare to get messy!
Paladar Da Guia | Hands down, the best octopus I have ever had. It is located in Cascais, outside of Lisbon.
ACTIVITIES
Jeep Tour | The highlight of our girls' trip, hands down, was our FlaminGO Jeep Excursion. Fransisco was amazing to work with, and very accommodating. From the views, to the music, it was an amazing morning! He even left us with cute Polaroid pictures to take with us. He was kind enough to book us a table for lunch, at a really cool spot (mentioned above).
Casa da Guia | After the jeep tour, we came here for lunch. There are many restaurant options, with great views. I highlighted the one we visited, above. There are also many little shopping options. Tuk Tuk Tour | When we go to Lisbon as a family, I will definitely do this with the girls.
Lisbon was a really cool city! I think Lisbon is a great location for a girls/boys weekend, as there are so many fun things to do. Since I have not visited it with my girls, I don't have as many kid friendly activities. Fernando wants to visit with the girls, so be on the lookout for an update to this post.
