Sunday Roundup

Happy Sunday everyone! Today I am so thankful for a slow Sunday. This week left me exhausted. I am still trying to adjust to the early wakeup time, to get the girls off to school. It's only 30 minutes earlier than when I would wake up in Germany, but it feels like a lot more!! Poor Chewy has had more bathroom accidents in the house, on carpet several times (insert crying face). Together, we have all chipped in to walk him more, in order to prevent more accidents. Saturday we had family over. Fernando's tia was in town from Connecticut, so we grilled out, the kids played, the adults played cards - perfect casual Saturday night. Did you catch my new reel? If not, go check it out to see what I wore for our casual night in.

National Dog Day was yesterday! I was a little late in posting, but boy has Chewy been the best addition to our family. He is the sweetest, funniest dog. We all love him so much, and I am so happy we were able to rescue him and give him his forever home.

My Recent Buys

Recent Buys:

This week's recent buys included a lot of home items, some pumpkin PJs for the girls, and a cute transitional skirt for me.

Here is a roundup of what I bought this week. I probably sound like a broken record, but Smocked Auctions has THE BEST PJs for kids. I ordered the girls these new pumpkin PJs for the Fall. I really loved this Madewell skirt when I saw it. Paired with a tank and sandals, or with a turtleneck and booties - it is so versatile! I usually would not spend this much on a vase, but I had $50 in Key Rewards with Pottery Barn, so I splurged. I really loved this rustic vase. It will look perfect on the dining room table with some faux stems. If you haven't already, you must look at all the things Zara Home has to offer. You mustn't sleep on them! I found this chic side table, which looks way more expensive than it actually was. Man, I had some serious sticker shock when shopping for patio furniture. After searching all of the usual sites, I found exactly what I wanted at Lowe's. This set is great quality! I plan to change out the throw pillows, but the rest of it is great!! We've tested them, they are super comfy! Lastly, a dry erase calendar. With all of the back to school events, sporting events, dad's travel...we really needed a family calendar. I really like this gold trimmed one. I also ordered these markers and this meal planner for the fridge.

Last weekend, I used Sunday to prep the week ahead: planning the girls' clothes, washing and cutting fruit, meal planning, etc. What a difference it made! I hope you all have a great week.
